Functional pottery to use every day - made in my home for yours. Fun shapes, friendly colors, always safe for food.

Wow! This place hasn't been this full of people since our kids grew up and left home. Maybe it was never this full in any situation. Thank you all for taking the time to stop by StoneFlowerPottery during the Studio Tour.

Jim and HM appreciated meeting friends new and old and they are sorry that they sold out of some designs. You can contact them at jimandhm@yahoo.com. They stop by the area for business now and then and may be able to meet you to deliver pins to you.

The customer appreciation raffles for my pottery winners were Deb Dibble from Andover (white and blue bowl), Mark Smith from Alfred (yellow bowl), Lauren Alexander from Rochester utensil holder) and Sarah Recio from Wellsville (blue bowl).

I continue to feel it a great honor to have so many of you include my pottery in your daily lives.

My "Yellow Room" is always stocked with pottery for you. Hours by chance or appointment.

Friends for the Holidays Show and Sale:  at St. Philips Church Hall (the green church on Rt 19 in Belmont) on Friday Dec 4 from 11-6 and Saturday Dec 5 from 10-4. Christmas gift wrap available for most pottery. Also showing will be Green Circle Grove, Second Wind Jewelry, Kathie Huey, Joan Sinclair, Margaret Schulock and others.

Open during the Studio Tour and all year by chance and appointment.

Are you interested in functional pottery with embellishments or fun details? Bowls and mugs have decorative sprigs glazed in earthy browns or bright blues (lots of blues), greens, whites or yellows.  My favorite part of making pottery is learning how my pottery has become a part of someone's family traditions - always an honor to hear.  Animal banks created in my studio go from the nursery to college dorm rooms with their owners.  I've made the forms that have become "my favorite mug" for many people.  Marc only eats desserts on dessert plates I made for his family 20 years ago. Mike and Connie use bowls for everything. Emilie plates many of her fabulous cakes on my pottery. Find her vegan baking recipes at ConsciouKitchen.net. Feel free to call if you would like to stop by the studio.

After a bowl is thrown and dried a bit the bottom needs to be trimmed. That's what I'm doing here.

Our kitchen is always transformed into a pottery show room during the tour. The yellow room always has pottery and this year Jim and HM will make our dining room look pin-tastic.

The yellow room is open for your shopping by chance or appointment all year. It's better if you call so I can push some dust aside and/or make sure I'm home for you.

Christmas gift wrap available at the studio tour and also at the Holiday Show and Sale with Peg Cherre (jewelry and weaving), Margaret Shulock (cards, calendars and paintings) and Green Circle Grove (soaps, bags, and jewelry) at St. Philip's Episcopal Church Hall, behind the green church on Rt. 19 in Belmont - Friday December 4 from 11-6 and Saturday December 5 10-4.

No admission - Free Raffle - Refreshments - off-street parking.

Shop locally - from your friends and neighbors in Allegany County.
