My interest is in the functional pot with fun. Bowls and mugs have decorative sprigs glazed in earthy browns or bright blues (lots of blues), greens, whites or yellows.  People come to my studio with stories of how my pottery has become a part of their family and I'm honored to know this. For 20 years, woman in Cuba has been serving cookies on a platter I made.  Animal banks created in my studio go from the nursery to college dorm rooms with their owners.  I've made the forms that have become "my favorite mug" for many people.  Feel free to call if you would like to stop by the studio.  I'm a retired elementary teacher and around most of the time.  You can always find me here during the annual Allegany Artisans Studio Tour - October 18 & 19 this year.
